It is now Autumn! Tara of the Dandelion Folk and Mel the Honey Bee are on yet another wild foraging adventure in the Appalachian Foothills. The pair journey across the Mushroom Kingdom as they search for treasures and meet fun and fascinating characters, all of whom are based on real life mushrooms and have wisdom to offer.
 
The Earth Folk Tales are written for the expanding community of children and families who are reconnecting to nature’s wisdom and finding value in Earth-based knowledge and skills such as foraging, wildcrafting and outdoor survival.

Through an enchanting fairytale-like story, Autumn Forage introduces the reader to key aspects of foraging such as:

-Embodying respect and gratitude for the plants, mushrooms, trees, insects and animals we encounter on our foraging expeditions
